So many blogs look the same and people seem to stick with the default style that blog engines supply. There is no reason not to customise it.

In the Blogosphere content is king, but if people find that your blog is difficult to read or the information is difficult to find and it just looks generic, why would they think what you have to say is important and is maybe nothing more than generic!
