Legacy Cauldron

We have  been playing with fire and are very pleased and proud to be involved in the Legacy Cauldron for Bell Telecommunications.

The cauldron was commissioned by Bell Telecom (Canada) as a legacy trophy it was presented to BT.

From our initial proposals in partnership with Swarm, a concept was selected and developed to feature a three-dimensional Möbius strip, which is fabricated in highly polished stainless steel. The Möbius strip symbolises the continuous endeavour to compete and perform at the Olympics. It is inscribed in English and French; "So the whole world can see and remember. So that billions feel like they were there."

Legacy Cauldron Details
The cauldron is designed to fire a continuous flame for the duration of the Olympic period, it is fuelled by ethanol which can be safely ignited and extinguished. The cauldron is built to last over 25 years and at three feet wide and two feet high, it can be easily packed and transported around the world to hand on to future recipients.
